Spore-Based and Traditional Probiotics in Together Health's Multibiotic

Learn about the types of probiotics used in Together Health's Multibiotic, including spore-forming strains and their benefits for gut health.

Updated over a month ago

At Together Health, we use a blend of probiotics, 'sporebiotics,' and fermented foods in our Multibiotic supplement to support gut health. This combination offers a variety of benefits, as each type of probiotic brings its own strengths to the table.

Spore-forming strains, often called sporebiotics, are particularly good at surviving the harsh environment of the stomach due to their protective coatings (or 'spores'). This means they can reach the gut intact and deliver their full range of benefits. The spore-forming strain we use in our Multibiotic is Bacillus Coagulans, a highly researched probiotic known for its ability to improve gut health, enhance immune function, and support a healthy balance of gut bacteria.

However, we believe a complete gut health product should include more than just spore-based strains. That's why our Multibiotic also features well-established non-spore-forming probiotics like Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium. These hardy strains have a long history of safe use and extensive research backing their effectiveness for digestive health, immune support, and more. While probiotics, in general, are better at surviving the gut than most non-spore-forming strains, we've selected highly resistant strains that are capable of reaching the gut and delivering their benefits effectively.

The combination of both spore-forming and non-spore-forming probiotics in our Multibiotic ensures a comprehensive approach to supporting your gut, promoting overall balance, and helping your digestive system thrive.
