What Form of Vitamin B6 is in our Supplements?

Learn about the active and inactive forms of B6 in our supplements

Updated over a year ago

Our products contain pyridoxine hydrochloride. We use a unique method to produce whole food nutrients (see: How are your whole food nutrients made?), and in this process, we ensure pyridoxine hydrochloride becomes part of the cells of the whole foods we use. As a result, it is better absorbed than isolated forms of vitamin B6.

The majority of people can efficiently convert absorbed pyridoxine hydrochloride to the active form as needed in a normal biological process. Some rare genetic factors and conditions can affect this, and where there is a known genetic condition or concern, it is recommended to consult with a healthcare professional or genetic counsellor for further evaluation and guidance.
