Gentle Iron can help meet increased iron requirements during pregnancy and replenish stores drawn down by fetal development. Iron needs rise to 27mg per day compared to 18mg normally for over 19 years and 15mg under 19 years.

Our formula contains 16 mg of iron, along with B vitamins, to work together in aiding iron absorption, boosting your energy, and helping make healthy blood cells. As our Gentle Iron contains whole food nutrients, it is gentler on the stomach compared to traditional iron supplements.

The safe upper limit for iron supplementation during pregnancy is 45mg, allowing 3 Gentle Iron capsules to be taken daily. Check the iron content of any other supplement you are taking to ensure you do not exceed 45mg combined. You can exceed this under the guidance of a medical practitioner.

Take iron on an empty stomach for best results, at least 2 hours apart from calcium or prenatal vitamins and drinks containing caffeine.
